
Introduction: This intensive five-day course will provide the members of the unit with expert training in basic and advanced marksmanship skills, fire and movement, military operations on urban terrain, entry breaching, and close quarters battle. Upon completion of the training, students shall be capable of acquiring, drawing, shooting, transitioning, and eliminating multiple moving targets while on the move. Each student should fire 3500 rounds of 9mm, 1500 rounds of 5.56mm, 300 rounds of 5.56mm frangible, and 200 rounds of Simunition®.
Simunition® is the most realistic training system allowing personnel to train with non-lethal ammunition using the same type of weapons for real-life training. Immediate feedback enables experience force-on-force and man-to-man live fire scenario training without the associated danger.
Aim: each student will develop the individual and team skills necessary to rapidly and decisively engage an unknown enemy threat in urban or rural terrain with limited support.

Unit under training usually provides: Primary and secondary weapons, , weapons accessories and cleaning materials, eye & ear protection rated for firearm training, minimum Level IIIA body armor, hydration system (canteens or camel back), ballistic helmet, communications equipment, rain gear, clothes appropriate for the environment, personal equipment consumables.
Contractor usually provides: all materials, range material, facilities, labor, and supervision necessary to conduct class; Training facilities to include all ranges, ammunition, vehicles, Simunition® weapons and gear, consumables and classrooms needed to accomplish training. Secured storage for controlled equipment and weapons cleaning facilities are included. Due to the remote nature of the facility, lunch and dinner is provided each training day. On site lodging is available.
Method: 10% classroom instruction and 90% in practical training including live fire firearms training and force-on-force combat training using Simunition®FX® weapons.
