Law Enforcement Basic Carbine- 2 Days
Introduction: This course is designed to develop a solid foundation of shooting skills with the duty carbine rifle. The student will exercise these skills in a variety of shooting situations to quickly gain experience, confidence and increase their skill level with their carbine. The following topics will be discussed during the course:

- Ammunition and Ballistics
- Multiple Shots
- Multiple Targets
- Shooting While Moving
- Shooting Positions
- Transitioning to Shooting Positions
Ammunition Requirements: 1,000 rounds of ammunition.
Gear: Carbine, sling, 3 carbine magazines, magazine holders, belt, wraparound eye protection, ear protection, water bottle, rain gear, and weapons cleaning kit.
Skill Prerequisites: None

Duration: 2 days
Course Cost: $395.00 including a certificate of completion. A variety of meal options can be purchased from our on-site dining facility for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Bunkhouse lodging is available at the North Carolina campus and may be reserved through your Sales Coordinator. Most items on the gear list may be rented via the application at additional cost or purchased at the Proshop.
