Basic Shotgun - 3 Days

 


Introduction: Beginning with a review of firearms safety and the fundamentals of shooting, the course will quickly progress into instruction on shotgun patterns using different ammunition, use of cover, and other skills critical in the tactical environment. Student will practice learned skills through challenging practical drills to improve the student's ability to effectively engage threat under a variety of conditions.

Aim: To develop the student’s ability to effectively employ the shotgun in a tactical environment

Number of Attendees: 6 to 14

Duration: Three Days

Ammunition: 750 rounds of bird shot, 25 rounds of 00 buck, 20 rounds of slug Gear: Shotgun, sling, ammunition holder, wraparound eye protection, ear protection, weapon cleaning kit, rain gear, clothing appropriate for climate and conditions and a water bottle or other hydration system.

Course Cost: $595.00 including a certificate of completion. A variety of meal options can be purchased from our on-site dining facility for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  Bunkhouse lodging is available at the North Carolina campus and may be reserved through your Sales Coordinator. Most items on the gear list may be rented via the application at additional cost or purchased at the Proshop.
