
Introduction: This course introduces basic armorer skills for the M1911A1 weapon system. Students will learn to disassemble, assemble, troubleshoot problems and malfunctions, and maintain the weapon. The course covers the M1911/M1911A1 weapon system and provides instruction on how to diagnose and repair malfunctions, return firearms to Military Specifications, perform function checks and more. Armorer training classes are a mixture of classroom instruction and hands-on exercises, enabling each student to achieve a high degree of familiarity with the topics covered.
Goal: Students successfully completing the course will be able to repair and maintain the M1911/M1911A1 weapon to Military Specifications. Graduates will be issued a three year certification and will receive one-on-one U.S. Training Center phone and/or E-Mail support.

Gear: All weapons and armorer tools used in the course will be provided by the U.S. Training Center.
Method: This course will be taught using classroom lectures and practical exercises.
Skill Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of the M1911/M1911A1 weapon system.

Course Cost: $200.00 if at North Carolina and Midwest facilities. Lunch is included only at the North Carolina and Midwest facilities. Bunkhouse lodging is available at the North Carolina facility and may be reserved through your Sales coordinator.
