
Introduction: This course is designed for the student who uses a pistol as his primary firearm in a tactical environment. The course will begin with the development of marksmanship fundamentals and basic weapons manipulations. The course then progresses quickly to more advanced techniques that will enable to student to shoot faster and more accurately. The student will leave the course with improved speed, accuracy and manipulation skills. This course is fast paced with 90% practical range training time in order to prepare students to handle the most challenging tactical shooting problems.
Aim: The emphasis is on developing tactical and shooting skills that can be applied in real-life situations.

Ammunition Requirements: 2500 rounds
Gear: Pistol, holster, three high capacity (15rds) magazines or six low capacity (7-8 rds), magazine holder, belt, flashlight, flashlight holder, clear wraparound ballistic eye protection, ear protection, weapons cleaning kit, rain gear, clothing appropriate for climate and conditions and a water bottle or other hydration system. Knee and elbow pads are strongly recommended.
Method: Classroom and practical application on the ranges.
