Training Courses

Pistol/Carbine Combination - 5 Days

Introduction: This course is for the individual who needs to develop safe weapon handling skills and a solid foundation of basic shooting skills with both the handgun and the carbine.  Students will learn the fundamentals of marksmanship and basic weapons manipulations to include: drawing from the holster, reloading, and clearing malfunctions.  From these basic skills, the training will progress into more challenging shooting drills that will reinforce the fundamentals while providing lessons that can be practiced to maintain skills.

During the last two days, shooters will apply the same fundamentals of marksmanship to the carbine, developing the basic weapon manipulation skills for the carbine type weapon. Students will then apply those skills to more advanced tactical situations including use of cover and transitions.

Aim: The student will quickly gain experience, confidence and increase their skill level with both handgun and carbine. Students will leave with a good understanding of shooting fundamentals and how to apply them in a tactical situation.
