Mentor to the Chief of Counter Terrorism

The Contractor shall work directly with the Chief of Counterterrorism to assist with all aspects of developing policy and strategy for Counterterrorism of the MoI. Mentoring objectives shall be identified, tracked, and reported on by the Contractor. New mentoring objectives shall be included through coordination with CSTC-A and the COTR. Initial mentoring objectives shall, at a minimum include the following:

Coordinate with develop policies in coordination with the DIAG (Disbandment Illegal Armed Groups) with the United Nations.
Design and review new weapons permits.
Work with the DIAG at Sorobi to assist in training.
Coordinate the legalization of security groups in Afghanistan and weapon registration.
Review Tashkil revisions for counterterrorism.
Ensure adequate equipment, training, and supplies are available to DIAG and coordinate with MoI to ensure they retain responsibility for operations.
