Designated Defensive Marksman/Protective Security Specialist
Provide Designated Defensive Marksman Services in a high-threat area. Candidates must provide evidence of completion of an accredited Sniper School to qualify.
Qualifications:
- Three (3) years experience in defensive marksman skill sets to include; (1) protective security advances and site assessments and (2) Close Quarters Battle (CQB) techniques for clearing and occupying sites. (3) tactical firearms training, (4) Sniper/Observer training, and (5) high risk entry techniques.
- Level 3 English proficiency
- Completed or served at least three (3) years in military, law enforcement, or executive commercial protection.
- One (1) year of experience shall have been obtained in personal protection security assignments in a high-threat area (e.g. Iraq, Afghanistan, SWAT in a city over 200,000 population)
- Three (3) years of training can be substituted for one (1) year of experience.
- A four (4) year degree may be substituted for one (1) year of training.
- Experience can be gained in the employ of any Federal, State, or Local military or law enforcement agency or executive protection services with military, law enforcement or commercial entities.
- Only candidates who can provide evidence of completion from an accredited Sniper School will be considered for this position. (Military school which includes long distance (800 + meters) and moving targets)
